Skyview Atlanta Ferris wheel readies for noon opening

22837690_BG2Crews spent the weekend making big progress on SkyView Atlanta. Atlanta’s newest attraction is located right across from Centennial Olympic Park. The just under $15 experience is private to a single group between two to six people or up to five people for the VIP gondola.  FOX 5 cameras were there as they installed the special VIP gondola on Saturday. It is an all leather interior with a glass floor. The 200-foot high attraction will give passengers a birds-eye view of the city. The Ferris wheel will take riders around four times on about a 15 minute ride. Workers put the finishing touches on the attraction on Monday.  Despite the last-minute flurry of activity, the Ferris wheel is set to open at noon on Tuesday. The attraction will be open most days 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with an extra hour at night on Saturday.
